What are blessings?
Blessings are a kind of protection spell which reduces the death penalty. There are 5 blessings in Tibia. The more of them you got, the more are you protected upon a death. Each blessing will reduce your experience and skill loss with 8% each. If you have all 5 blessings, you will lose 40% less experience than you would do without them. (If you are premium and promote your character when you are above level 20, the experience and skill loss will be reduced with further 30%)
Item loss protection
Each blessing also protects you from losing items when dying. Without any blessings, the risk of losing your backpack is 100% and the risk to lose your equipment is 10% for each item. Just one blessing, will reduce this risk with 30%! With 2 blessings, the risk is reduced with 55% and with 75% for 3 blessings. If you get 4 blessings, the risk will be reduced with 90%! That means, the risk of losing your backpack now only is 10% and the risk of losing a piece of your equipment only is 1% for each part! So what about the 5th blessing? If you have all 5 blessings, you will be 100% protected! Upon a death, you would then keep all your items. If you have all 5 blessings, it works just like the old Amulet of Loss (which still works), but now you’re free to use another amulet at the same time as you get the loss protection.
How much does each blessing cost for me?
Since blessings are such a great protection, you will need to sacrifice money to the blessers to get them. The higher level you get, the more important are the blessings for you since the amount of experience, skill and (most likely) items they are protecting gets higher. Therefore, the price of each blessing also rises with your level. For all players below level 30, the blessings cost 2,000 gold pieces each. The price for each blessing for players above level 30 is a bit trickier. Each blessing for a player above level 30 will cost 2,000 + 200 * x gold pieces, where x is equal to your amount of levels above level 30. For example a player with level 32 is 2 levels above level 30 and he would then have to pay 2,000 + 200 * 2 = 2,400 gold pieces for each blessing. That is 12,000 gold pieces for all 5 blessings. A tip to make the counting easier is to take your level, withdraw 20 from it, and then multiply the result with 1,000. The result will tell you how much all 5 blessings will cost for you (divide the result with 5 to see how much 1 blessing will cost). For example, a player with level 68: 68 - 20 is 48. 48 * 1,000 is 48,000. 48,000 gold pieces for all 5 blessings is what the player with level 68 would have to pay. All players above level 120 will just have to pay 100,000 gold pieces.
Where do I get the blessings?
To get all 5 blessings, you need to talk with 6 different NPCs on 5 different locations:
• NPC Norf, White Flower Temple (south of Thais)
• NPC Humphrey, Druid Circle (north of Carlin)
• NPC Edala, Suntower (south of Ab’Dendriel)
• NPC Kawill, Temple of Earth (Kazordoon temple district)
• NPC Prydar, Temple of Fire (Kazordoon temple district)
• NPC Eremo, Eremo’s island (ship from Cormaya)
Note that you need to talk with both NPCs in Kazordoon to get the blessing. If you don’t want to buy all blessings, you may of course just speak with the NPCs you want to buy from.
However, if you are above level 100 and have completed the Inquisition quest, you can buy all 5 blessings at the same time (The Blessing of Inquisition), although, you will have to pay 10% more then:
Guide to find all blessers – Pilgrimage of Ashes
• NPC Henricus, Thais Jail
Finding all 6 blessers is not always easy if you are a newcomer or haven’t seen them before.
If you are below level 25, the city guides in every city can guide you and also give you a reduced price on each blessing. If you join their Pilgrimage of Ashes trip, you will just have to pay 1,000 gold pieces for each blessing!
This guide shows how you step-by-step can do the Pilgrimage of Ashes quest and at the same time find all blessers. Even if you are above level 25 and just want to find the blessers, you can still follow this guide but instead of saying “quest” to the blessers, you should say “blessing” and then the name of the blessing you wish to receive. Note that you only can get one specific blessing on each place. If you don’t follow the quest, you can buy the blessings in any order.
You can start the trip at any city guide, but since the first blesser is in Thais, it’s recommended to start there.
Talk with the city guide and ask him for a “quest”. If you are willing to proceed, accept his offer by saying “yes” a couple of times. The city guide will tell you that your first place to go to is the White Flower Temple south of Thais. The city guide will give you a mark on your minimap.
Thais – White Flower Temple
Blessing: The Spiritual Shielding
To get to the White Flower Temple, simply follow the blue line on the map below. When you are at the temple, use the stair leading up to the second floor and you’ll come to the blesser.
Talk with the NPC and ask him for “quest”. Accept the price of the blessing and he will bless you:
NPC Norf will tell you that the next blesser is in Carlin and give you a new mark on your minimap. You can now choose if you want to head back to the city guide which will tell you the same thing or walk directly to the next blesser. You can either take the ship from Thais to Carlin (recommended) or simply walk from Thais to Carlin.
Carlin – Druid Circle
Blessing: The Embrace of Tibia
To get to the Druid Circle, simply follow the blue line on the map below. When you are at the circle, use the ladder leading up inside the mountain to the second floor and you’ll come to the blesser.
Talk with the NPC and ask him for “quest”. Accept the price of the blessing and he will bless you:
NPC Humphrey will tell you that the next blesser is in Ab’Dendriel. Remember that you at any time can check your quest log to see where the next blesser is in case you would forget it. You can either take the ship from Carlin to Ab’Dendriel or simply walk from Carlin to Ab’Dendriel.
Ab’Dendriel – Suntower
Blessing: The Fire of the Suns
To get to the Suntower, simply follow the blue line on the map below. When you are at the big tree, use the ladders leading up inside the tree to the fifth floor and you’ll come to the blesser.
Talk with the NPC and ask him for “quest”. Accept the price of the blessing and he will bless you.
NPC Edala will now tell you that the next place to get blessed on is Kazordoon. You can now choose to walk from Ab’Dendriel to Kazordoon (recommended) or take the ship from Ab’Dendriel to Edron, and then the ship from Edron to Cormaya and from Cormaya take the steamboat to Kazordoon.
Kazordoon – Temple District
Blessing: The Spark of the Phoenix
NPCs: Kawill & Pydar
When you come from the main gate, walk to the stairs leading down to the city. Then follow the blue line on the map below to get to the temple district.
When you’re down, and looking at your minimap, it’s easy to think that you should follow the light blue line on the map below. However, you should first follow the dark blue line and go down the stairs to the Temple of Earth to speak with the first blesser. Talk with the first NPC (Kawill) and ask him for “quest”. Accept his offer and he will give you the first part of the blessing for free.
Now walk the dark blue line back and follow the light blue line this time instead on the map above. You’ll come to the second blesser (Pydar), but be aware of all the fire on the way (more than you can see on the picture below). Remember to bring potions! Talk with the second NPC and ask him for “quest”. Accept the price of the blessing and he will bless you with the second part of the blessing. If you have completed the Paradox Tower quest and are carrying a Phoenix Egg, you will get 10% discount on this blessing.
NPC Prydar will now tell you that the fifth and final blesser is Eremo. He lives on an island between Edron and Cormaya. To get there, you can either take the steamboat from Kazordoon to Cormaya, and then take the ship from Cormaya to Eremo’s island (recommended) or you can walk from Kazordoon to Venore, and then take the ship from Venore to Edron, take the ship from Edron to Cormaya and then take the ship from Cormaya to Eremo’s island.
Edron – Eremo’s island (Premium Only)
Blessing: The Wisdom of Solitude
Note that you must be premium to get this final blessing. Simply take the ship from Cormaya to Eremo by saying “Eremo” to the captain:
Talk with Eremo and ask him for “quest”. Accept his offer and he will bless you with your fifth and last blessing. He will now tell you that you have all 5 blessings and you can finish the quest by saying “quest” to any city guide. The city guide will reward you with 2,000 gold pieces for your efforts!
Blessing of the Inquisition
In order to buy this blessing, you must have completed the Inquisition quest. The blessing is exactly the same as all other blessings above, but you can buy them all at once. Simply follow the blue line to come to Thais Jail on the map below, and walk down the stairs and then head to the north part of the jail.
Speak with NPC Henricus and ask him for “blessing”. If you want to buy all blessings at the same time (costs 10% more than travelling around and buying one by one), accept his offer and he will bless you with all 5 blessings at once.
How do I know which blessings I have received?
You can easily, at any time, check which blessings you already got by using a Ceremonial Ankh (reward from the Pits of Inferno quest). Simply right-click on the ankh and press “Use”, and you will see which blessings you have received.
What happens if I die? Will I still have my blessings?
No, sorry. Every time you die you will lose all your blessings, and if you want them again you will have to buy them again.
I have bought all 5 blessings, but I lost my Premium Account. Will I still be protected?
Yes, since you still will have your 5 blessings, you will be protected. However, once you have died you cannot buy all 5 blessings again.
I am free account now, but I have completed the Inquisition quest when I had Premium Account. Can I still buy the Blessing of the Inquisition?
Yes! That is possible and actually the only chance for a player with a free account to buy all 5 blessings and be as protected as possible.
What happens if I have all 5 blessings and use an Amulet of Loss at the same time?
That is actually not a good idea since you will lose both your blessings and the amulet of loss then. If you have all 5 blessings you won’t need any Amulet of Loss. If you just have 4 blessings, and want to be 100% protected from item loss, you will have to use both blessings and an Amulet of Loss.
Can I buy blessings on any server?
No, you cannot buy blessings on PvP-Enforced servers.
